1. When I was my Mom's made of Honor for her wedding: This made me feel incredibly special. I don't think many people can say they were in their moms wedding let alone their mothers made of honor. Really showed how much my mom loves me.
2. My first varsity game: It was my first game of my freshman year and I was playing varsity. Talk about scary and exciting all at the same time. It was definitely the high light of my freshman year.
3. Getting my license: I could not wait to get my license, that meant I had so much more freedom and I was so ready for that. I loved getting into my truck for the first time by myself and driving away.
4. When my little sister was born: It was the first day of school of my eighth grade year and I now had a little sister and I couldn't have been more excited. Even though I wasn't the baby anymore, I was glad I could be a role model to my baby sister.
5. Winning Districts this year: After a somewhat rough season, we pulled together winning districts. We were also switched to a new district, we had a really good chance at taking home the championship. Then again there is always a slight chance that we wouldn't. Knowing we worked hard all season to get to that point made everything so much more worth it. We gave it everything we had.
6. Graduating 8th grade: Graduating 8th grade is very cliché but still, I was in high school now. Even though it meant more responsibility I was so over middle school and ready to move on and be in high school.
7. Getting my first vehicle: Knowing that I could now drive was the best feeling ever. But having a vehicle of my own was even better. I didn't get a brand new vehicle but I did get a really nice 99 dodge. That any 16 year old would kill to have! Thank you daddy!
8. Buying my first saddle: I was 13 and I wanted to buy one of my own My parents had always provided very nice saddles for me to use but I wanted one of my own. I worked all summer long and finally had $350. It made me feel so good and accomplished to have bought something with that kind of money.
9. When my brother graduated high school: This meant I had the hole house to myself because he was moving out! I then had no one to watch over me at school and tattle to my mom and dad if I liked a boy he found out about.
10. This years graduation: I will miss this senior class more than anything but it showed me not to be so dependent on other people. They all showed me that I can be anything I want to be. I've learned so much from all of them, but its a sign that I'm growing up and so are they.

Synetics
Which is wiser? a pen or pencil?
A pencil. A pencil can make mistakes and erase them, and not make the same mistake over and over again. Where a pen makes a mistake and has to start all over. A pencil learns and corrects, its knows its mistakes but never makes them again. But a pen seems to always make mistakes and sometimes it gets really messy.

Which is easier to forgive? a street or a sidewalk?
A sidewalk. You might always have to drive a certain street in order to get where you are going. But a sidewalk... you don't always have to, there are ways around.
Which is smarter? A clock or a calendar?
A calendar. A calendar has 365 days where a clock has 12 hours on it... that's not even a full day. There is so much you can learn in 365 days and not just 12 hours. I think you receive the most valuable lessons over time.
Which is easier to teach? a question or an answer?
An answer. Anybody can ask a question, but sometimes there is only one right answer. Other times there is many answers to a question YOU just have to pick the right one. Teaching somebody to ask a question is a piece of cake. But teaching somebody right answers on the other hand is a different story.
Which is more fearful? new or old?
New. You never know what is going to happen in the future. That's why it is so scary. Nobody can promise tomorrow I don't care who you are...you don't know whether you are going to wake up tomorrow. You can always forget the "old" it's in the past, you cant change it so you might as well go on with life.
Which has more pride? an entrance or an exit?
An entrance. It takes more courage to walk in than to walk out. If you just walk out your giving up...you don't have any pride in yourself as you did when you walked in.
Which is more useful? a friend or an enemy?
An enemy. Friends are great but enemies teach you more than a friend does. They teach you to be strong, they hurt your feelings so its harder to hurt them the next time. They teach you to stand up for yourself and what you believe in. They show you how strong and weak you can really be.
Which is more trustworthy? history or literature?
Which is sadder? seek or find?
A seek. Its sad because you haven't found what your looking for yet. You could be looking for something very meaningful and your dying to find it, and knowing you might never find it hurts inside.
Which costs more? a home or a house?
A home. You can live anywhere, but there's no place like home. No matter how many memories you have, no amount of money could ever replace them. Home is where the heart is, it takes along time for somewhere to actually be "home."
Which is happier? music or art?
Music. Music can really bring out your emotions whatever it is. Everyone has a song that can make them smile. Whether it remind them of a special time, place, or person. Sometimes just singing a song at the top of your lungs can just put a smile on your face and make you feel better.

Valuable Lessons
The most Important Lessons
1.Nothing worth having comes easy.- I've learned that if something really means something to you, it's not going to be easy to keep, your going to have to work for it.
2.Chase your dreams!- Somebody really important to me said that if I was to learn some things from him, this would be one of them. Joe always taught me if i want something ,to go for it! Don't let anybody stop me, do it for me.
3.God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.- In the past year i have gone through so many tough things but I've always pulled through, and i know God would never give me anything i couldn't handle.
4. "This too shall pass"- An important lady taught me this when i was going through a really rough patch. She told me "Remember this too shall pass, don't give this dark bleep of a moment another thought." I always quote this while in a tough spot.
5.Everything happens for a reason.- God has a plan, have trust in him and what he brings in and out of your life.
6. Don't care so much what people think of you.-If you are trying to please other people, you are most likely not pleasing yourself.
7. Don't be so quick to judge.-Try walking a mile in someone else's shoes. Might not be so easy. You might figure out why they are, the way they are.
8. Be an original, not a copy.-Be your own silly, quirky, unique self. There is only one of you, so embrace it.
9. Worrying about what your high school peers opinion of you is typically as worthless as they are.-This might sound a little harsh but, it is what it is. Not everyone of your high school peers is going to be worthless, but i guarantee you won't stay friends with all of them. Some you might, others you might not.
10.Do more of what makes you happy.- If something isn't right for you.. Do what you think is right. Surround yourself with the people that make you happy and just tolerate the ones that don't. Do things that make you happy and love your fabulous life, you only have one.
